Department Scripps has, is a sleeper or way under staffed! The Insurance Department want answer my calls!

I'm waiting on approval for MRI's with possible shoulder rotator cuff tears. Dr has turned in to Scripps Insurance Dept, said wait would be 10 days. Now after the 10 day wait with No reply, I contacted the MRI scheduling Dept, they said Scripps Insurance Dept is backed up and may be 7-10 weeks before they turn it in to my insurance for approval! If my insurance approves the MRI's then have to wait for another appointment with the Dr, Being I started this process in October 2017 for an appointment, now being toward the end of November, this will go into next year at this rate!

Beginning to feel like Scripps is similar to a Veterans Hospital/Insurance Dept.

where you hear of people dying waiting to get in, not good! Now thinking I have made a wrong choice by using Scripps, even though the Hospital and Clinic have good service and Dr's with an A rating, but their insurance department doesn't qualify for a rating, so sad to bring down the Scripps name....Have had good service with the Dr's and staff but the Insurance
